Mr Patrick Chong brings together a rare combination of scientific, technological, business, and holistic health expertise, offering learners a well-rounded perspective on health and wellbeing. As Principal of the college, he is dedicated to advancing holistic health education and empowering individuals to make informed choices that support lifelong wellness.
His academic credentials include a First Class Honours degree in Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, a Distinction Master's degree in Telecommunications from the University of Surrey (UK), and an MBA from Nanyang Business School. Following a successful career in technology and management, he developed a deep interest in health sciences and pursued further studies in Diet & Nutrition, Detoxification & Toxicology, Bach Flower Remedies, Energy Medicine, and Holistic Medicine.
A former part-time lecturer at PSB Academy, Patrick has also delivered public talks on environmental sustainability, green living, and the health implications of electromagnetic radiation. His multidisciplinary background and practical teaching approach help learners translate complex concepts into meaningful, real-world applications.
Beyond the classroom, Patrick leads an active lifestyle and has completed more than 40 marathons over the years. He believes that true holistic health is achieved through the harmonious integration of sound nutrition, physical vitality, emotional wellbeing, mental resilience, and environmental awareness. With a keen interest in emerging developments in health science and wellness, he continually explores new ideas, research, technologies and innovations that can contribute to healthier living.
Patrick is also a trainer for the Chinese-language delivery of ICHH's VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Diet & Nutrition for Complementary Therapists. He believes that effective education goes beyond imparting knowledge; it should inspire learners to think critically, take ownership of their wellbeing, and create lasting positive change for themselves, their families, and their communities.
